I'm reading back through your blog during a quiet morning and some of the similarities between us, well they're disconcerting! These beads, I have the same ones in red, although I bought them when we lived in London and I was homesick, so similar scenario.
Also, I had my hair short like yours for years and have only just "grown it" (jaw length) after much angst - also my second daughter Leila, is only a little younger than your little man - she was born on January 2nd 2007. So fun reading through! AND we're planning a trip to Japan at the end of either 2009 or in 2010 so I'm making notes of all your interesting Japan comments!
